Startedby is an AI-powered organizational intelligence platform designed to solve one of the most fundamental challenges facing businesses in the age of artificial intelligence: AI cannot meaningfully improve a company it doesn't understand.

The platform uses conversational AI interviews to learn directly from the people inside an organization—what they do, how they work, which tools they use, where information flows, and where processes break down. It brings that knowledge together into a shared, continuously evolving understanding of the business, making organizational knowledge accessible and actionable in ways that traditional documentation and consulting engagements rarely achieve.

The idea emerged from my work helping companies identify opportunities to apply AI to their operations. Across engagements, I encountered the same challenge: before you can recommend what a business should change, you first have to understand how it works. That discovery process was often time-consuming, expensive, fragmented, and quickly outdated.
